Experienced - Aggressive - Trial Lawyers

Being able to properly evaluate a case is a skill designed and perfected through practice.  Experience working with individuals as well as insurance companies/corporate entities allows an attorney to view a case from both sides.  That is not something that many attorneys are able to do given the model for many law firms.  Yeager LaNasa Tauzier prides itself on the diverse background and experience its attorneys enjoy.

 Anthony V. LaNasa, Jr.

Tony grew up in and has spent the majority of his life in the New Orleans, Louisiana area.  He received a Bachelor of Science in Business/Marketing from the University of Florida, graduating cum laude.  From there, he attended The Paul M. Hebert Law Center at Louisiana State University, where he attained his Juris Doctor degree.  While in law school, Tony was a member of the Civilian Society and the Phi Delta Phi Legal Honor Society.  Tony also served as a Judicial Extern in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana.   Given his goal of becoming a trial attorney, while at LSU, Tony participated in the National Institute of Trial Advocacy program.

Since becoming a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association, Tony has enjoyed a diverse civil practice.  He began is legal career in New Orleans, focusing primarily on personal injury litigation.  After the devastation and disruption of Hurricane Katrina, he and his family relocated temporarily to Tampa, Florida.  In 2006, Tony became a member of The Florida Bar (which he currently maintains).

Through his years practicing in Louisiana and Florida, Tony has become an experienced trial attorney handling cases ranging from small claims to complex commercial litigation.  While his main focus has always been and will always be his personal injury clientele, Tony has also handled a wide array of insurance defense, construction litigation, insurer bad faith, products liability, and select family and criminal law matters.   He has aggressively litigated cases from the initial investigation stage through trial and appeal.  He has served as lead trial counsel as well as lead appellate counsel.

Tony has worked in large trial litigation firms and became a founding member of Yeager LaNasa Tauzier to focus on the individual needs of clients.  Tony has seen the benefits and drawbacks for working in the large law firm environment.  This broad range of experience has given him unique insight into the legal process and the ability to offer his clients highly effective representation in numerous areas of law.  In the past ten years of practice, Tony has helped thousands of personal injury clients recover in cases ranging from automobile accidents, 18-wheeler truck accidents, motorcycle/bicycle accidents, pedestrian accidents, hit-and-run accidents and premise liability claims.

Tony currently resides in New Orleans with his wife, Susan, and their children.
